Product Description
Traditional Craftsmanship Meets Festive Beauty
This exquisite hand-painted clay diya represents the perfect fusion of traditional Indian artistry and functional design. Crafted by skilled potters from Gujarat, each diya is individually shaped, fired, and painted with intricate floral motifs that celebrate India’s rich cultural heritage.
The Art of Diya Making
Our artisan partners have been creating these beautiful diyas for generations, using techniques passed down through their families. The process begins with locally sourced clay, carefully molded by hand on traditional pottery wheels. After the initial shaping, each diya is fired in wood-fired kilns, giving it strength and durability.
Hand-painted Excellence
What makes these diyas truly special is the detailed hand-painting process. Using natural pigments and fine brushes, our artists create delicate floral patterns inspired by traditional Indian motifs. No two diyas are exactly alike, making each piece a unique work of art.
